It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden death of John Chege aka DJ Kenyan Bwoy of Corona California. John Chege passed on in the morning of August 17th 2015 from heart attack.
He was the son of Patrick Chege and Beatrice Nyambura Chege of Thika. He was a husband to Elizabeth Kiratu Chege ( Corona Ca) and father to Melissa Nyambura and Sean Chege (Corona Ca). He was a brother to Irene Chege (Anaheim Ca).
He was an uncle to Constantine Chege.

African Carnival USA 2015
African Carnival is to reconnect and preserve African cultural heritage through celebration of cultural diversity.
Our aim is to unite African Descendant in the Diaspora, educate and celebrate African Culture.
African Carnival is under the umbrella of, Hope of Africa, a nonprofit organization whose focus and mission is to improve our community through education empowerment and cultural progression. African carnival is a celebration of Africa through parades and dance to the rhythm of African drums. The purpose of African Carnival is to express individual freedoms as well as, reconnect and preserve our rich cultural heritage. We hope to celebrate ethnic diversity and bridge the gap between different races in our community. This event will showcase cultural dances with vibrant colors and masquerade costumes from different parts of Africa. There will be games, exotic African cuisine, a fashion show/Hair show from renowned Beauty Stylist in around the nations, stage performances and plenty activities for children.
