Dear Friends and Brethren,
Kenya Students School Supplies project is resuming its annual mission to Kenya this year after two years absence because of the Covid pandemic. Each gift given towards this project will help us support students in Kenya. This year Kenya Students School Supplies Mission plan to touch the lives of many needy primary school children with school supplies including uniforms, shoes, reading books, notebooks, school bags, mathematical sets, pencils, and pens, etc.
Know that 100% of your gifts go to purchase and to put desks, uniforms, and school supplies in the hands of Kenyan kids directly. Each year, when I arrive in Kenya, I am moved by how great the need is. By the grace of God, in the past, we have been able to reach the entire student population at Kawaida Primary School (about 1,000 students) by providing them with very needed school supplies. Some children were surprised that they had received mathematical sets and they could take them home and do their homework without having to wait and take turns in the classroom. This is what we mean when we say, it is more blessed to give than to receive. Your support made this happen
Education is a great equalizer in society. It opens doors of opportunity in life. However, today students in Kenya still struggle to obtain resources to make their education successful. Imagine in some places, it’s still the same struggles some of us experienced like school supplies – uniforms, shoes, books, pens, a book bag… A student in Kenya needs shoes to complete their uniform. You see the needs are still great, especially when you travel away from major cities like Nairobi. Praise God because we have opportunity to help meet these educational needs.
Please join us for the 7th Annual Kenya Mission Service/Fund Raiser on Sunday, April 24, 2022, at ZOE Global Ministries, 4974 Cowan Rd, Suite 230, Acworth, GA 30101. Time: 4p - 7p. We will share a meal, participate in praise & worship, have prayers for students in Kenya, fund-raising, and auction items. The annual outreach/mission in Kenya will take place in May 2022.
Thank you.
Rev. Dr. Joe Njoroge.
