Kenyans in the US will be honoring East Africa's Leading Novelist Prof. Ngugi wa Thiong'o with a dinner at Georgia State University College of Law Conference Room on June 22nd, 2024 from 3pm to 8pm. This will be followed by an after party and those details will be provided to ticket holders only.

Dr. Bernard Marasa, of Kenya Diaspora Alliance - USA (KDA-USÀ) shared some thoughts on this Kenyan legend "As a literary icon, Mwalimu Ngugi's writings have provoked critical questions about the 'independence we won and the bitter fruit it became in the hands of African leaders in a neo-colonialism era".
